reason

My thought process behind the 3 test questions are one, they are the correct age level for kindergartners.  Two, they cover different areas of thinking; they have to write, speak, and look at pictures.  With the Essay question the kids will have to think, write and put a sentence together.

learning objectives and outcomes

Danielle Soares

Kindergarten

Vocabulary/letters

1.      The student will show their ability to recognize the letter T and say it to the teacher.

2.      The student will show their ability to write the letter T on a paper in several different ways.  Tracing a solid line, tracing a dotted line, and writing it alone on a line.

3.      The student will show me their ability to use the letter T in a word.  The student will say a word that starts with the letter T.  Toad, touch, truck, tape…..

The objective is to have the students become familiar with the letter T with the different ways that it is being used.  The outcome will be for the students to be proficient with the letter T and how it looks, writes, and sounds.
